"Anthony and Shona were extremely welcoming and friendly. They have put a lot of effort into making the hotel comfortable and warm. The uneven floors in this old listed building are quirky and if you like pistacho green you'll love the contemporary dining room! The quality of the service was excellent and the food very good. We stayed for two nights and wouldn't hesitate in returning. Great value for money."
"Recently refurbished hotel with an excellent sized room, upto dated wall mounted LCD tv with freeview, extremely large en-suite with good power showerand excellent dinner and breakfast - everything I look for as a solo business traveller. Would certainly stay here again and a steal at the price"
"Although I arrived late about 9pm , the owner asked if I wanted to eat which is a nice change from so many places where the chef finish at a certain time and thats it! Room nice and clean with Chocolate drink available (rarely happens) and extras such as trouser press in room . Breakfast available at 7.30 as requested and owner very willing to help make stay comfortable."
